From the very beginning when we first decided to take the leap and to buy and relocate Lazar's Package Store to a new location we knew it had to be different.
Some of the concept we developed becomes apparent as you browse through the store. We want to own a place where people will find a good variety of wines, beers, and spirits that fit with any budget no matter how large or small. We are also striving to have many choices representative of regions and varietals from all over the world.
Our wines come from the United States, Australia, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, New Zealand, France and even ISRAEL. We're expanding our choices of local wines as well as our selection of
100% Certified Organic wines and beers ALONG WITH Kosher Wines.
We always try to accommodate customer requests. Why? Our customers matter! We will consider all requests for new products and don't forget we can always special order any item if it's available for sale in Rhode Island. Delivery to our store usually takes no more than five days.
We also have a growing list of restaurants and caterers that we supply on a reduced price schedule.

When you come into our store be on the lookout for several self-help improvements:
We have color coded our white wine selections in order to help you choose one that suits your tastes best. Wine price tags that have a BLUE sticker are considered dry. Price tags with a yellow sticker are semi-dry and those with a green sticker are considered sweet.
You can also find several laminated posters that explain the different type of wine varietals (i.e. the different grapes that make different wines) and posters that suggest food pairings for the different wines that we sell.
